Behind the Scenes with Louis Theroux – HSTikkyTokky Thinks He Won!

Behind the scenes images of the disturbing documentary by Louis, Into the Manosphere. I chat about the most disturbing aspects of Louis' Netflix Premier

Well Louis Theroux isn’t one to do it by halves is he? He’s landed on Netflix with a documentary so shocking, so controversial, so disturbing and so upsetting as his Netflix debut and comeback into the world of investigative broadcast journalism. Be warned, if you haven’t yet watched Inside the Manosphere you are in for some uncomfortable viewing. If you have seen it you may be interested in the behind the scenes images I’m about to share (courtesy of Netflix), some views on HSTikkyTokky (what a name) and why he thinks he won this battle of wits. (Can you really win a battle of wits if you enter without any ammo? You need wit to win the wit war. HSTikkyTokky has none). A dive into why men like this exist, going a little deeper from a psychological perspective than Louis did, although I think he explained it perfectly. A little look at Louis himself, what he’s up to, why he’s making such great waves when he could just sit back and bask in the glory of outing the biggest UK predator in history (along with all the other incredible work he’s done). We’ll finish with the perception of these men from an educated man’s perspective and an educated woman’s perspective. What it means for our future, what it means for theirs and why every word they said contradicted the words before it. Oh we may also chat about the disgusting antisemitism, the homophobia, the racism, the misogyny and the scamming as while Louis covered this in detail, while saying very little (a skill I need to learn), I would be ignoring the most shocking parts of this documentary if I didn’t mention it.

Inside the Manosphere

Who Are the Influencers Inside the Manosphere?

It’s rumoured that Louis wanted to interview Andrew Tate but Tate vehemently denied. Probably because he has a few years on these early twenties influencers and has seen the subtle but effective way in which Louis allows the worst in humanity to dig their own graves. He knew it would be a hit piece. The others, meanwhile, are not educated enough on world affairs, journalism, real broadcast TV to know who Louis is. This gave Louis an advantage. They were simply keen to brag to their underage followers about being featured on Netflix. Blinded by the bright lights, boosted by their own inflated egos and spurred on by their own inherent narcissism they all proudly thought, “What could go wrong?” So used to controlling the narrative on social media and spewing out anything, be it fact or not, misinformation or lies, they had no clue how real television worked, real interviews, real PR. They’d also never before been broadcast to an audience above the age of 18 and as I’ll show, their brains stunted at puberty. They don’t understand intellect, intelligence, a meeting of minds. They’re still stuck in the parent’s bedroom masturbating into a sock twenty times a day, talking back to their mums and gaming online with an audience of peers in an echo chamber going through the exact same.

An Apology from Me – The Menopausal Obsolete in the Manosphere

I apologise profusely for the bullying I will do in this article. I can’t help it. They set themselves up. As a female who was once an exotic dancer in order to pay my way through Uni to now being a menopausal woman men don’t look twice at in the street I feel I have the right. I am his antichrist. Invisible to him and the others featured in this documentary I have no worth. I was born with titties and a vagina (which gives me worth apparently) but they don’t work like they used to and so I am obsolete, you may as well hang me on the Handmaid’s wall right now, and be done with my life. I have no value. I can see it now, if any were to read this article. “It’s just a saggy old bitch spouting rubbish, it means nothing.” Maybe they’d be right, who can tell, all I know is that I’ll have a lot of fun debunking their rhetoric and educating young girls (OnlyFans members or not) on why they should avoid boys like this, forever!

Without further ado let’s meet the cast!

HSTikkyTokky or Harrison Sullivan

You just know his mum came up with that name when he was four and in a bid to hold onto a life when his dad was still around he turned into a name recognised by millions. Come here TikkyTokky, good boy, what a sweetheart, who’s mummy’s brave boy?

Big guns, small buns, tiny brain

HSTikkyTokky is 24 at the time of this article. Big guns, small buns, tiny brain. He’s supposed to be the star of the documentary but is so paranoid about being set up he tries to avoid Louis, making up silly excuses about flying to Dubai. Yet, with the few hours of footage Louis and team manage to garner, he ties his own noose while his mum slings it over the wooden beam and his followers pass him the chair. He’s very entertaining in an evil character on the cast of Accused. Watch Series 1, episode 6 and see the similarities. Warren Brown plays an incredible character, a wronged husband who believes he’s entitled to his wife’s body at all times. Naomie Harris plays his wife. Warren’s depiction is chilling, showcasing his incredible acting skills as you do come to truly hate him. The parallels between this character and HSTikkyTokky are terrifying, showing how intuitive Jimmy McGovern has always been and why his writing has always been second to none. Anyhow, I digress.

Key Facts about HSTikkyTokky:

Let’s move on. I have to leave some surprises for your viewing discomfort.

Myron Gains – Fresh and Fit Podcaster

Oh my, this podcaster is losing his grip on reality and his control of his life. He regularly spews hatred over his podcast and views all women as slags.

Justin Waller

On the face of it I hate everything about Justin Waller, he’s friends with the Tate brothers, has a one sided monogamous relationship (although can you call it that when his wife is also sleeping with his girlfriends?) and rates values on looks and success. yet he was the most lucid of the gang. That’s not saying a lot. It’s not saying I agree with him but there was something likeable about him. He didn’t shout antisemitic tripe. He didn’t beat anyone up. He actually let his wife have a voice. (No doubt he coached her behind the scenes but he looked pretty comfortable while she talked). He played with his kids and understood real business, not just ponzy schemes and fake investments. He probably still does (sorry, it’s the author in me I have a real bad habit of writing in the past tense. I’m trying to overcome it but as I’ve had time off lately it’s sketchy. Forgive me).

Here’s what we know:

He was the most likeable of all. If I had to choose one. Yet still very concerning.

Next Up:

Ed Matthews

Ed doesn’t seem to have developed a personality of his own yet. He simply repeats everything HSTikkyTokky says. He’s trying to amass the same following and follows HS around, licking his bum and following his orders while live-streaming his own parallel content. He could have taken a different path, he didn’t. So that means he’s up for ridicule. He shares a lot of the same beliefs and values and it’s hard to watch him as he has echoes of being a decent person.

Here’s what we know:

Finally we have:

Sneako

I really wanted to like Sneako. Seeing some of his earlier videos he seemed so innocent and pure, yet he was, quite possibly, one of the most disturbing of all.

(L to R) Nico Balinthazy (Sneako), Louis Theroux, in Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere. Cr. Courtesy of Netflix © 2026

From his tiny flat above a shop he sends out his content, having to mask up when out in public should he be mobbed. Positively or negatively.

Here’s what we know:

The Problem with the Red Pill Ideology

Ok so many of these influencers believe in the Matrix, an invisible power that controls all and makes men feel suppressed. This Matrix makes men believe they have to sensitive, have to have 9-5 jobs, have to be respectful of women, have to have a heart. Now the Red Pill dissolves all that (just like in the fantasy film starring our friend Keanu Reeves – yes, he is a friend) and shows them that they can control the narrative. They can be in charge of their women, their finances, they lives. It cracks through the Matrix and reveals a truth while battling against this hierarchy that no one has ever seen.

Here’s the problem. Right now the people in power who control everything are mainly,

Men who share a lot of the boy’s ideologies. Men who these boys probably voted in when they reached 18 (just last year then). Homophobic, racist men. So if they sit in the highest possible positions of power in the entire world, who is controlling them? Is it still the Matrix? Has the Matrix decided on the minimum wage, the cost of living crisis, the need for two parents to work to survive? Has the Matrix decided that to excel you must be without disability and with a good education, you must work hard? What exactly are they fighting against? It makes no sense. At all. Yet they blame the Jews, for everything. They don’t even understand the Jews, as was obvious as HSTikkyTokky blurted out to Louis, “Do you agree with Israel’s genocide?” He had no idea what he was asking yet kept repeating the same statement as he read it live from his stream. He looked so smug as for the first time in the whole documentary he’d used words longer than a few syllables.

The Followers

Finally we meet a few followers. Young men who are investing their money into HSTikkyTokky, the man who doesn’t care if they win or lose as long as he gets a cut. The man who would prefer they lost as he doesn’t want competition at the top. It’s ok to take the red pill and succeed as long as not too many do it, as he wants to be the one controlling everything, as do all the influencers here. They want to be the Matrix. The very institution they’re trying to dissemble. You can’t make this up.

I think that’s what you call a mic drop but I’m old, invisible and obsolete so what do I know?

One says, “I don’t believe in depression, no one in this manosphere does. It doesn’t exist.”

Louis lets him talk.

“When my brother died, yes I was sad but I had to find the positives and now, with HSTikkyTokky’s help (just his online content) I’m going to be successful for me AND my brother.”

Louis asks, “How did your brother die?”

The kid, “He committed suicide.”

I think that’s what you call a mic drop but I’m old, invisible and obsolete so what do I know?

Why You Shouldn’t be Scared of These Boys

All in all it is scary, disturbing, worrying that our younger generation is being fed this bull by people with pea brains who can’t form a real sentence without a follower telling them how to. A bunch of sociopathic narcissists that claim to help you succeed while planning your demise as they squeeze you for every last drop of blood like a claret thirsty vampire who’s fallen off the Vegan wagon. The violence is shocking but don’t be too scared as I believe this will all shift soon.

Unless a bunch of 14 year old males suddenly start running the country I think we may be ok. Of course, there’s shocking aspects to trump’s reign but he can’t claim a third term and despite his promises, the wall, the suppression of women, he really hasn’t got too far. It’s still fixable is what I mean. Surely, once these followers enter the real world and grow up, develop intelligence and maturity, they’ll see this exactly for what it is. Like the WWF they championed in elementary school, the Hulk Hogan, the champion wrestlers, it’s all fake.

They are all just mummy boys at heart

Who, in reality, would want to grow up broke and without brain cells? To be viewed by the rest of the mature world as part of a pack of conspiracy theorist imbeciles? Most are investing their Universal Credit and welfare into these schemes the influencers peddle, as they feel they’re too good for the normal working life. How far will that get them before the fabled depression sets in? Before they take a good look at themselves and realise this is not working the way they thought, that even the Only Fans models only care when they’re paying a hefty subscription.

Like the WWF they championed in elementary school, the Hulk Hogan, the champion wrestlers, it’s all fake.

That’s what these men don’t realise. The women they meet aren’t stupid. They’re using them. They know that if they keep their mouth shut and pretend to agree that these wannabes will keep paying the fees. They know if they appear on these podcasts their follower count will rise and they can then monetise. They know exactly what they’re doing using what they have right now, so when the bobbies sag and the menopause hits, they can find themselves a real man, one with book smarts, one with intelligence, empathy, integrity, values, a moral compass, a caring nature and a jolly good sense of humour. Not one of these pretend men, Ken dolls that missed the last movie.

It’s ok to crave the past, to look back with rose tinted glasses and think life was better when the man worked and the woman stayed at home.

Even I fantasise about being a housewife sometimes. How wonderful it would be to just bake, and take care of everyone while someone else took care of me? Yet in today’s society it’s not a reality. Back then men worked hard, with their hands. They didn’t have manicures. They didn’t have time. Unless in the arts or high up on the board they got dirty, down coal mines, in factories, on the road. Long exhausting hours that deserve a good home cooked meal at the end.

The women dressed elegantly, soft but sophisticated, with dignity. Saving the private parts for the private times. Divorce rates were down, birth rates were up and families could survive on one income. Yet even then, women were making waves. Some may have viewed us as stupid, but those in the know knew that behind every successful man was a very good woman, she was the brains.

You can’t be the hero, protector and provider if you’re a broke coward. It doesn’t work like that. You can’t be a hero if you constantly make your partner feel like second best, worth nothing, valued only for her youth and breasts. It’s an oxymoron. The two don’t go together.

That is why these men are trying to create a reality that is pure fantasy. They’re weak and they need the world to accept their weakness as strength, they need to control the narrative. Yet Louis, without saying very much let them contradict their own beliefs. It really was a hit piece. He just didn’t know it at the beginning.

The Thing with Louis Theroux

See right at the beginning the influencers were paranoid about Louis, and rightfully so. You can’t really make a hit piece on an innocent person. This fact seemed to elude them all. I don’t think Louis goes in wanting to fully expose these degenerates, like with Saville. I think he has a morbid curiosity, a genuine interest in what makes these people tick and he makes documentaries around finding out. The fact some end up as cancelled is down to their own behaviour, their own rhetoric, their own weird belief system. As Louis makes his Netflix debut he says himself, he’s now just making content that intrigues him. He’s not picking controversial subjects out of a hat. Yet this latest was disturbing.

You can’t really make a hit piece on an innocent person. This fact seemed to elude them all.

The absolute vitriol at the end as HSTikkyTokky raged at Louis shouting silly questions yet Louis didn’t flinch. I was angry for him, I wanted to shout back, I wanted to argue and that’s why I’d be no good at this. As the mother told Louis, “You’re no better than him, you’re making money off him because of his influence.” I wanted to scream, “This is an expose you silly mare, content that educates, informs and gives audiences insight into new worlds. You see Louis flying in private jets? The two are not the same.” Yet Louis knew he didn’t have to defend himself, viewers already get it. At this point, HSTikkyTokky thought he had won, he thought his mum had won on his behalf as Louis didn’t respond. He thought he rendered him speechless. He hadn’t.

Ironically, if HSTikkyTokky had gone into this less paranoid, a little more like Justin, a little more open, affable, and been friendly Louis may not have strung him up like a kipper at the end, with the Juice bar and the assault footage. (Ok so if he’d not assaulted someone too). He’d have come off as naive, uneducated, but to his followers he’d still be a star. Yet his paranoia overcame him, his need to bait Louis, his need for extreme content that overtook the story unfolding. Right now we could be pitying him. Instead, we despise him while wondering how his mum can have so much control yet still sounds time with a son that devalues her worth every single day. Who’s the real villain? The one spouting rubbish that’s easy to disprove, or the ones cheering him on from the background and profiting off his success, in his villas and homes? All of them. They are all villains and now the world sees them for exactly what they are, thanks again to Louis Theroux, a real man, our real hero. Thank you.
