Our Fabulous Father’s Day Gift Guide

We’ve been testing a lot of very different Father’s Day gifts so you can find something very special this year!

All of those featured in our Father’s Day gift guide have received eight or more stars out of ten from our focus groups and testers. We don’t receive any commission for recommending these products to you (yes, we know we’re missing a trick!) so you know, the reviews are completely genuine.

We also found that some of these are great for women too!

Bear Grylls Survival Set

This is an incredible little set for any Dad who loves to have practicality on the go. Of course, most dads won’t get lost in the wilderness anytime soon, but the knife, the firestarter and the extras make it a great addition to the car boot and it’s also great for long family walks, camping or just at home. The quality is outstanding and the knife is very sharp (great for whittling) so please do use this with a little common sense.

Lifesaving in an emergency or just really handy to have in your backpack. Bear Grylls Basic Survival Kit mantra is: Stay prepared. Stay alive! RRP:£29.99

 TP Link Powerbank

We hear you, you’ve seen enough power banks to become pretty bored of them by now. We have too, but this one is quite different. It’s intelligent! It can charge almost anything and actually detects the device to deliver the most efficient charging solution, that means it’s super fast! We love it. For headphones, cameras, all phones and tablets, you won’t need anything else. It even recycles charges!

Letterbox Gifts

Just what gift can you actually receive through the letterbox? A book, a CD, a DVD? This company have found genius ways of packaging unique gifts so they do fit through the letterbox and they offer many variations, the one we tested, of course, was for Dads. The contents are of high quality and will be well received by the men who like to take care of themselves. We were pleasantly surprised and you will be too when you see just what can fit through your letterbox (stop being rude!)

Go LUSH!

Lush have a great men’s range and my husband secretly loves the lush bath bombs (he won’t admit it publicly though). Treat Dad to a manly scrub or navy blue bath bomb, even he needs skincare and relaxation too!

Don’t underestimate the power of LUSH.

For a Different Tipple:

Jagermaster Spice

A re-blend of the classic, Jägermeister Spice bottles the 56 hand-selected herbs, blossoms, roots and fruits found in the original, with enhanced notes of cinnamon, rich vanilla and subtle saffron, making the first variant in the iconic brand’s history.

With an ABV of 25%, Jägermeister Spice provides a smooth and warm taste profile with a spicy flavour – albeit one that is unmistakably Jägermeister, and aims to tap into the ever changing consumer tastes and the need for versatile spirits for alternative serves.

Leffe Brune

Leffe is a distinguished Belgian beer, it’s all about rediscovering time, getting back those moments to savour what’s important in life ie. Great beer!

This one is Leffe Brune which originated in 1240 and is described as the genuine abbey beer with a pleasant fruity scent. The taste blends notes of vanilla, cloves and apple, making it deep and comforting while never losing the lightness Belgian beer is famous for. For those looking for a paler beer, the Brune’s cousin, Leffe Blonde, RRP £3.00 is a perfect golden ale with an even smoother flavour.

Editor’s Note: This is actually the most comfortable activity tracker we’ve tested while being so versatile it’s topped the list as our favourite. It’s the best fitness tracker there is. Treat him!

Mandle

We love the Mandle, we did giggle when we heard of it, as it seems so… (insert your own words). It is, however, great for covering up the smells of a teenagers bedroom and I can picture it at Hannibal’s dinner parties taking centre stage on the dining table.

Personally, I want it for myself, as the whole time it was burning I kept thinking I was being watched by some mysterious hunk. The similarity to a high quality aftershave is a bonus and so you can buy this for dad or keep it to yourself.

Rewined candles below are the perfect gift for Father’s day. Whether he prefers a glass of Merlot, Pinot Noir or Champage, Rewined have is covered with repurposed wine and champagne bottles and scented soy wax.

Play A Little Game

If you’d like Dad to spend time finding his presents you could use this handy gadget to create a high tech treasure hunt. Soon to be in handbags automatically across the world (we hope), this brilliant idea makes it easy for you to locate anything with your phone. It’s small so can be attached to a purse, a bag, a pair of socks or even a cat! It also looks great too, obvious high quality, with a lovely brushed metal finish, ideal for matching the detail on a purse or wallet, or adding to a set of keys.

Trackr Bravo

TrackR Bravo is a tiny coin-shaped design gadget that helps you find your lost, misplaced or stolen valuables and can be attached or stuck to almost anything (keys, wallet, bike, handbag, camera, flowers etc). It uses Bluetooth-low energy that connects to an app running on your phone and operates on a replaceable battery that lasts for up to a year. If the item you are looking for is out of Bluetooth range, TrackR will use the power of its Crowd GPS Network and growing community of TrackR users to find it. The gadget is now available in the UK in EE shops, John Lewis, Argos and Currys.

TrackR creators have also announced earlier last week, manufacturers like HP, Cross Pens or Mezzi can now integrate TrackR technology into their products making it possible for them to be located worldwide.

The TrackR Bravo will notably be placed in a discreet pocket of 1 million Hewlett-Packard laptop bags and in the new Cross Pens luxury device Peerless 125. Mezzi has also integrated the TrackR SDK into its mobile app to make sure their customers will be able to track the brand’s luxury handbags and purses. These could be nice gifts for him or her this year.

Cross Cross Marvel Tech 2 Spiderman Pen

This is obviously great quality and subtle enough to be used in the most serious of meetings. A pen he won’t lose, this is a wonderful present for any Dad considered to be a superhero. Find your own Spiderman Pen RRP: £30
