Top Ten Hair Tools

We’ve been on the search for the top ten hair tools for Christmas 2015. Every year advancements in technology mean that straighteners, brushes, heated rollers and crimpers are bigger and better than ever.

As we like to step away from the norm, we avoided GHD (or they avoided us and didn’t want to be put through their paces) and in our opinion we’ve discovered some real beauties that do a much better job.

No.4 Nicki Clark Hot HairBrush

No.5 Vidal Sassoon Infra Radiance Hot Air Styler

Combines two styling essentials in one device: a styling brush and hair dryer. It speeds up and simplifies the process of at home hair styling allowing you to look and feel your best even with the busiest of schedules. Featuring the latest Infra Radiance and Tourmaline Ionic Technology, the Infra Radiance Hot Air Styler combines gentle infrared heat with the standard air flow through the 38mm Thermal Brush. This unique technology helps to deliver more even heat, to smooth the hair cuticle and preserve its natural moisture, resulting in reduced frizz and soft, radiant results.

No.6 DesiRED Straighteners

No.7 Donna Bella Straighteners

These are the only straighteners we’ve ever used that improve the texture of the hair, leaving it soft and smooth. They are quite incredible. When we asked the Polish sales woman how it works she said it was “new technology” that brings the oils to the surface. This does make us worry about prolonged use as they essentially strip the natural oils from the shaft of the hair. For now though, we’re happy to use them for special occasions when we really need to sparkle!

No.8 Braun Satin Hair IonTec Hairbrush

This is quite space age and ingenious in the way it works. We won’t pretend to understand the science behind it but we will say it works!

No.9 Gensis Dryer from DIVA

No.10 Tresemme Styler 230 degrees
