We’ve been on the look out for anti frizz treatments. The winter weather has played havoc with our hair and we know that with summer just around the corner it’s the perfect time to find the magic frizz solution that works.

A great anti frizz solution can save a lot of time and money, making hair almost good to go as soon as it’s washed and dried naturally. It can cut down on the amount of heat needed to manipulate it into shape, thus keeping hair looking healthier for longer.

Over the past month, we’ve tried them all, from pre treatments to leave in conditioners, from serums to mists and from creams to oils. Here is our pick of the best anti frizz treatments on the market today:

Creighton’s Keratin Pro

You’d be forgiven for avoiding this due to its ultra low price tag but don’t let the price fool you. This brand is capable of competing with some of the best as it adds moisture while smelling great. A fabulous everyday shampoo and conditioner for keeping frizz at bay.creightons

Nicky Clarke Instant Calmer

Instant Calmer smoothes and controls hair for a sleek luxe finish. Forming a natural shield over the hair, this professional smoothing balm makes hair soft, shiny and manageable allowing hair to move freely into styles. With Argan Oil and avocado extract to soften and add shine.
We wanted to create a product that would leave hair soft and had the ability to allow the hair to move and be supple whilst offering enough control. It needed to protect the hair but more importantly – as with all the new Nicky Clarke products – it had to have the ability to be mixed with other products in the range.
The carefully selected natural ingredients feed the hair proteins that enable it to have lots of decadent shine whilst importantly giving the hair control. The product is best used from lengths to ends when wet and blow dried into the hair. The denser your hair the more product you add. Instant Calmer also doubles up as a serum, concealing any fly-away hairs.

Organic Moroccan Argan Oil Restorative Treatment Conditioner

Palmers Olive Oil

We found the scent akin to sun tan oil on a foreign holiday. It took us right back to the beach on Tenerife in our teenage years!

Revlon Serum

A great affordable range that fights frizz while creating long lasting silky results.

Chill*

This ed lush serum is a fantastic finishing product to help promote a healthier, glossier look to hair but also to keep frizz at bay.

Osmo Intensive Moisture Treatment

This is a must for a once a week moisture surge, I for one cannot live without it now. Osmo also have a great range of leave in conditioners and styling sprays.

Moroccan Argan Oil from Nuusuite

This is my favourite by far as it is non greasy yet provides great texture, calming flyaway hair while eliminating frizz. This isn’t the only reason I love it though. It’s versatile, and so can be used as a bath oil, on the body or on the nails, delivering wonderfully soft skin everytime. On top of this it also comes in a generously sized bottle, allowing you to minimise clutter in the bathroom as you make this Moroccan Argan Oil your go to product. I’ve tried Argan oils ten times this price but they have yet to yield the same impressive results.

Great Lengths Super Shine Spray

Keratin Hair Oil

A wonderfully generously sized product in gorgeous packaging that looks great on the bathroom shelf. More than this it also delivers on every promise, making this a great oil for deep treatment or for a thin layer of shimmer and sparkle.

Phytodefrisant

A wonderful calming lotion for adding before styling, excellent for separating curls and adding definition to hair

PHYTODEFRISANT

Goji Berry Smoothing Hair Lotion from O’right

O’right is the world’s greenest hair care range. O’right is one of Asia’s biggest hair care brands and has expanded into 28 countries in the last three years. The Goji Berry Smoothing Hair Lotion tightens cuticles while reducing frizz, dryness and static, leaving hair smooth, soft and healthy.

The Goji Berry extract and highly active amino acids helps repair damaged hair, deeply nourishes and provides a boost of moisture to tame frizz.

Ayumi Repair Hair Oil

This  restorative hair oil provides ultra nourishment to tame and condition unruly, frizzy, coarse and dry hair. Replenishing Coconut, Grapeseed, Castor, Olive and Almond oils combine with natural vitamin E to soothe the scalp and condition hair cuticles while antioxidant-rich Brahmi and Amla, containing high levels of Vitamin C, help to texturise and strengthen to add shine, lustre and softness.

Grape vine extract and wheat protein combine to soften and smooth the hair while antioxidant olive leaf extract and natural moisturisers work to restore silkiness and manageability. This gentle formula cares and protects to leave your hair feeling revitalised and healthy.
