Every mother would be very happy with a hug, an, “I Love You” or a handmade card for Mother’s Day. Flowers and chocolates are a welcome bonus and always appreciated no matter what budget was spent. It really is a time when the thought counts. However, if you want to give your mum a little extra this year or to find her a unique gift that suits her tastes and personality I’ve got some suggestions that won’t let you down.

Flowers from Interflora

I know I said these were unique gifts but Interflora have unique bouquets to suit every occasion and taste. Choose from hundreds online and pick the bouquet that you can see sitting prettily in your mum’s kitchen or living room. The bouquets can come in vases, in boxes and they even have plants for forever gifting. Many can be upgraded to include chocolates, wine and gifts so your mum receives an out of the world delivery that really shouts, “I Love You!”

Now the flowers are done let’s look at some other unique Mother’s Day Gifts

A wide range of unique bouquets await

The Herb Collection from Fyne Herbs

This herb collection is ready to place on a windowsill with no preparation needed. Your mum will have instant access to freshly grown thyme, rosemary, mint, lavender, oregano and sage. Already sizeable and large enough to use in cooking the plants are housed in compostable pots so when the season comes your mum can plant them straight into the garden without any fuss. The set also comes with some mini snippers (these are very sharp, watch out), a care guide, online support and wooden name stakes for each plant.

PO.P Pyjamas

When I tell you that these are the softest, most breathable, attractive pyjamas I’ve ever worn I’m not being paid to say it. Originating from Sweden these pyjamas are made with 100% cotton and feel sublime next to the skin. They wash beautifully and keep the whole body warm without the sweaty feeling you get from fleece. Sleeping in them is a dream as you feel cocooned in a natural fibre cloud that lets you drift off in complete comfort. I was a little worried at first as long sleeved pyjamas can feel restrictive but these don’t. There is plenty of room for bingo wings, chunky biceps and the wrists cuffs don’t cut off your blood supply. In a wide range of colours you can choose pyjamas for the whole family or just buy some for mum, she’ll love them.

CuddleCo Body Support Pillow

Ok, this 12 foot body support pillow is for pregnant mums or new mums and I’m neither of these but I still love it. It gives me the very best night’s sleep and turns my bed into a drowsy dream where I can be comfortable all night long. In breathable cotton and emblazoned elegantly with gold embroidery, this pillow looks great on the bed but feels even better, even if you’re not pregnant or breastfeeding. It’s the ultimate cuddle companion. If your mum is single she’ll love to have this to cuddle up with. If you want to gift your mum the ultimate night’s sleep, this is the perfect choice.CuddleCo Pillow Review

I’ll be adding to this list over the weekend giving you plenty of time to discover the perfect gift, subscribe to get updates and find out how to truly spoil your mum this Mother’s Day

Temple of Incense

We have some exciting news about this brand that we’ll share very soon but just trust us when we say you will want to buy these for your mum. Their Oud and Bulgarian Rose fragrance sticks leave a lingering scent that’s decadent, fresh and musky, filling the entire home, not just one room. We’ve plenty more to say but don’t want to let the cat out of the bag just yet, please try them for yourselves and thank us in the comments!

Pure Classic Mini Radio in Walnut

Small but perfectly formed this classic mini radio is so cute. Not much bigger than Alexa it delivers pitch perfect sound easily and looks great on any kitchen countertop. We love that you can take it with you wherever you go and it looks classy but also modern too. It has all the functionality of a radio you would expect in today’s world yet blends seamlessly into any decor. What’s your favourite radio station? Ours, in the office, is BBC Radio 2. We contribute regularly to Jeremy Vine, he’s a good friend, while we love Vernon, Rylan, Romesh, Sarah, Michelle and Liza too. Of course we can’t forget Tony Blackburn, OJ Borj and Trevor Nelson.

Muvo Flex Speaker

Now the radio may be portable but you might look a bit silly carrying it around outside which is why we’ve found this, the Muvo Flex, the best on a budget speaker that lets you listen to your favourite tunes everywhere. In the bathroom, the car, on a picnic, a walk. You can share your favourite music with everyone and all for the small price of £29.99. My children loved using a speaker at Christmas, they set the volume to maximum, left it outside my bedroom door and played Felix Navidad full blast. It got me out of bed but with a smile on my face. Nothing can buy that magic but you can buy this for your mum this Mother’s Day.

Mariage Freres Blue Tea

Blue food and beauty products seem to be all the range when promoting relaxing attributes these days. Rituals just launched their Blue Daisy Dream Collection (Don’t buy it until you read our full review) and this tea incorporates blue flowers to deliver the most delicious hot tea. We can also imagine this used in summer, over ice with a few fresh mint leaves. It really is a unique, flowery taste that refreshes the whole mouth and leaves you feeling pampered and relaxed. We love it.
