We’ve been very fortunate to discover some incredible Easter treats this year. Many can be gifted throughout the spring and summer and not just for Easter. Lockdown hasn’t dampened our spirits, as the products are so bold and beautiful, while flavours are out of this world and bursting with life.
Without further ado, here’s our favourites of the Easter gifts and (some) eggs we tried this year!
Conscious Chocolate Vegan Citrus Chocolate Bunnies
We first loved these as they told us they were vegan, organic, ethical, printed with packaging using vegetable dyes so recyclable and made in a factory with 100% renewable energy. Aptly named Conscious Chocolate. We didn’t expect a product with so many accolades to taste so good! They pop in the mouth and give a surprising tingly feeling, like a lemon sherbet, or popping candy. They’re also (if they can be anything else on top) free from refined sugars and soy, which is great as they can be gifted to nieces and nephews with allergies. Is it any surprise they win our Top Product Award?
The Raw Chocolate Company Chocolate Making Kit
Staying on the vegan theme (we won’t stay here all day, don’t worry, milky treats are coming up) we love this chocolate making kit from The Raw Chocolate Company. We’ve tested a lot of craft kits and craft subscription boxes and never before have we found one where you can make your very own chocolate from scratch. We’ve got to be honest, when it arrived we were tempted to pinch the cocoa butter to use as a lip balm or body butter, but we refrained (then went to order more as it’s sold separately – hoorah!) and created some fabulous little raw chocolate eggs. There was a lot to go round too. A great craft kit for a rainy day.
Noah Baking Box
Staying on the theme of creating, the Noah Baking Box surprised us with its generosity. This is an ideal collection for first home owners, students or children just getting into baking. It has absolutely everything you need from a digital scale to a whisk, a loaf tin, a baking tray, and more. All products are of excellent quality (particularly love the rolling pin) and it’s also packaged really well. We love it. A great gift.
Easter Hamper
Not sure what to gift but want to make sure it impresses? Hampers.com have you covered (sorry that sounds like an advertisement). Really, check out their Easter Hamper, it has a beautiful collection of gorgeous chocolate in an array of shapes and sizes, mostly egg themed! We love the posh mini eggs, the Cambridge Confectionary Co nutty bar (sooo nutty) and the Love Cocoa salted caramel egg. IT looked incredible, tasted amazing and now we’re all full up! A great gift for a long distance friend, a mum or an aunt!
Gentleman Baristas Afternoon Tea
How decadent to have afternoon tea at home? We loved this, from the freshly ground coffee to the assortment of sandwiches (smoked salmon, cucumber, walnut and tomato) and the clotted cream scones. A beautiful gift that everyone will remember, generous but not too much, very tasty and delicious, especially the coffee!
Farmison and Co Lamb Guard of Honour
The ideal centrepiece for an Easter weekend feast, we adored this lamb guard of honour from Farmison and Co. It dazzled the family, (only sorry guests weren’t allowed to show off to) and was tasty and juicy. Delivered fresh as a daisy too!
Wrendale Candles and Diffusers
Wrendale have some beautiful candles and diffusers for Easter with baby bunnies and just hatched ducklings. They look so sweet and also smell divine, like a dewy morning. A great gift! The diffusers can also be posted through the letterbox so ideal for someone far away.
Bunches Easter Bouquet
This bouquet from Bunches is delightful and wrapped in wicker which is so original. The wicker can be used again to frame any other bunch of flowers too. It really does bring spring into the home!
ARRAN Sense of Scotland Gift Set
The After the Rain gift set from ARRAN Sense of Scotland is jaw droopingly luxuriating. The word petrichor springs to mind as it really does transform the shower into a tropical rainforest with the scents and the soft touch of the shower gel. We’re blown away, in a good way. A gorgeous gift for spring.
