There’s a new craze that cuts all sugar out of a diet, do you think this is the best way to lose weight?

Sugar is such a cause of weight gain as the body can only use 3 teaspoons of sugar before we go into fat storage and 3 teaspoons is not much at all. its very hard to cut sugar out of your diet altogether but not so hard to cut right back on it . Don’t have the added sugar thats in ketchup, sauces, packaged meats and fish, dressings etc and you will be halfway there. Eat eggs for breakfast or natural yogurt with nuts and seeds instead of cereal toast and jam and instead of crisps which often have sugar added eat nuts seeds and olives . A Macdonlads bun and burger have so much sugar that without the pickle a macdonals would actually have to  be classed as a cake. Cutting our as much sugar as you can and eating real food including the healthy fats that fill us up is the best way to lose weight

Do you believe someone can be overweight and fit and healthy too?

You can be overweight and reasonably fit but not healthy as it being overweight by more than 15% increases your chances of getting diabetes, fatty liver and heart attacks as well as stressing your joints and can factor into infertility too.

What did you think of the “chubby” pole dancer on last week’s Britian’s got Talent?

I thought she was fun and its good to see someone who has a positive body image and able to enjoy herself and feel sexy since sexy is  a state of mind when you feel more gorgeous others also see you and  treat you as more gorgeous too

If you had one piece of advice for our readers (women 26-45) on looking younger what would it be?

Dont cut fat out of your diet it is not fat that makes us fat but sugar, your skin needs essential fats to look youthful and  your mind needs essential oils for good mental health and fats are filling so when you dont eat them you crave crisps or chocolate in an effort to get them. do cut sugar out as  much as you can sugar attaches to collagen and makes your skin look old tired and stiff as it increases nose to mouth lines and aces skin more baggy, saggy and lined as sugar is a major cause of the inflammation that ages your skin.

Do you believe Botox is a great way to help prevent ageing?

It does not prevent ageing it simply prevents you frowning if you have a deep line between your eyes that bothers you botox is okay but it has to be repeated every few months. Having a thick fringe cut into your hair is just as effective

What would you consider an ideal weight for a woman of 5’2”?

Depends on her bone structure and muscle tone but i would say about 55 kilos or between 8 stones and 8 stone10 lbs

Do you believe celebrities harm a girl’s self assessment of body image?

Yes many scientific studies how that the more girls are exposed to thin celebrities the more they want to emulate them. In turkish villages without television and in Fiji diets were unheard  of however when television happened within 3 years the incidence of bulimia, anorexia and obsessive dieting rose dramatically as girls tired to look like the tv stars. Over exposure to seemingly perfect bodies has a negative effect on young girls and women
