We love to keep an eye on the Aldi special buys, and admit we raced to the store to find Kevin the carrot over Christmas. This week there are some great items on sale that we’ve tested. They live up to expectations and compete easily with the biggest brands. They’re worth a look.

Here’s a summary of what’s on offer but act quickly as once they’ve gone, they’ve gone.

  • Get ahead of those New Year’s resolutions with great gadgets, sports equipment and fitness wear.
  • New Year fitness range is available to pre-order online from 24th December, and to purchase in-store from 31st
  • Kitchen range is available to pre-order online from 3rd January 2018, and to purchase in store from 4th January 2018.

All the Gear…

Aldi’s Vibrating Board (£84.99), available online only, is perfect for intensive workouts to kick-start any fitness regime. Equipped with over five training programs, this board is a must-have piece for at-home workouts. Its slim design makes it easy to store and the new, built-in push-up grips allow for greater control when exercising.

This Swing Stepper (£24.99) is perfect for those wanting to work the entire lower body. The at-home device is equipped with a timer, counts calories burned, and tracks the number of steps taken to help keep track of progress.

Simple yet effective, this foldable Sit-up bench (£22.99) features leg cushions and a foam exterior for added comfort.

Or, check out the Suspension Trainer (£11.99) and experience a whole new range of exercises. Helping to leverage body weight and gravity, it helps improve strength, flexibility and joint stability.

For those wanting to increase their strength, Aldi’s 2kg/4kg Kettle Bell (£4.99) and 6kg/8kg Kettle Bell (£8.99) are the ultimate tools for a full body at-home workout.

Fashionable fitness…

Fitness gear needn’t be frumpy – inject colour with Aldi’s Fitness Capri Leggings (£8.99), Fitness Sports Bra (£5.99) and Fitness Vest (£5.99). All items come in a choice of matching colours and designs, and feature breathable fabric for comfortable and cool work-outs.

Featuring lightweight phylon soles and cushioned insoles, Aldi’s Fitness Trainers (£11.99) ensure maximum comfort and stability.

Carry everything in Aldi’s Slogan Gym Bag (£8.99), available in a range of quirky and colourful designs, including this ‘Gym and Tonic’ option.

Relax and recover with Aldi’s Yoga Mat (£4.99) or alleviate post-workout pains with the Foam Roller (£5.49) for speedy muscle recovery. Keep hydrated with the Fruit Infuser Bottle (£3.49) to add natural flavours to water for a refreshing and healthy taste.

Don’t forget to wear an Activity Sleep and Heart-rate Monitor (£29.99) to help keep on track with workout goals. Not only does this piece of wearable tech monitor daily activity, calorie consumption and covered distance, but it also tracks sleep status.

Grab a pair of Aldi’s Wireless Sports Earbuds (£29.99) and hit play on a gym-spiring playlist to keep motivated while working out. Designed with sports and workouts in mind, these wireless earbuds feature sweat-resistant designs and a snug fit to stay in place during even the most strenuous of activities.

Ready, steady, chef

Breeze through breakfast with the Russell Hobbs Canterbury Toaster (£16.99) and the Russell Hobbs Canterbury Kettle (£16.99), available in black, cream and red. The toaster also features an extra wide slot, ideal for toasting crumpets and tea cakes.

Aldi’s extremely powerful Nutrient Blender (£29.99) has a 18,000 rev per minute engine and a six-fold stainless steel blade, excellent for blending fibrous fruits and leafy vegetables. The blender includes a base station and two shakers, which also double up as cups.

Enjoy making a variety of warming lunches with Aldi’s Soup Maker (£39.99), which features nine programmes for a soup to suit everyone’s taste.

Cook with less oil and cut the calories with Aldi’s 2 in 1 Air Fryer (£29.99). Featuring a 12 litre capacity and extra accessories, including an oil spray bottle and two mesh trays, it also comes with a recipe book for extra inspiration.

This six litre Tower Stainless Steel Pressure Cooker (£39.99) is ideal for cooking delicious meals, maintaining significantly more vitamins and nutrients than other cooking methods for healthier meals, faster.

Cook up a storm whilst following your favourite TV chefs with Aldi’s 21.5” Full HD TV/DVD Combi (£124.99) – it’s the perfect size for the kitchen.

And, to help stay on track Aldi’s Meal Planner and Recipe File (£2.99) is just the thing, allowing you to plan your meals for a healthy week ahead and keep track of your favourite recipes.

Aldi’s New Year Fitness range is on sale in store from 31st December and the New Year Kitchen range is on sale from 4th January, but be quick because as with all Specialbuys, once they’re gone, they’re gone.
