Charles Mallory Compact – Product of the Month

July 16, 2015

As a mum, a wife and a career woman living on a farm, it’s so easy to forget that I love pampering. I adore gorgeous scents, beauty products and anything that feels like it’s nourishing my hair and my skin. Champneys reminded me of this with their body scrub. I’m a fan of ESPA products, especially their scrub. I must admit though it’s hard to get hold of and runs quite expensive, especially if, like me, you like to indluge every bath time.

Champneys made a fool of me, as they delivered a product that was the fraction of the price but twice the experience, seriously. Their scrub enveloped my skin in rich frgrant oils while removing the dead skin cells. It left my skin glistening with the bronze I’d acquired working in the garden. It made me feel oh so soft with no need for a body moisturiser and for the first time in a fortnight I felt truly pampered and taken care of. It sounds like a lot for one scrub to do but this really was a godsend for my aching, tired bones.

I’ve found that the oils are so nourishing and rich they can be used to soften the bath water too. A little trick I use is to have a quick dip, scrub myself all over in the scrub then dip again in the bath. This gives the scrub a multi use as it releases the oils into the water filling the room with fragrance and giving them more of a chance to relax the body.

Champneys for this win our beauty product of the month award for July!
