Last year we reviewed our Top 3 Quiet Mark Fans and Air Purifiers with Dyson winning our Top Product for the category for 2022. This year we have a new winner as this smart purifier blew us away, hence the stand alone post.

The Hoover H-Purifier 300 is no ordinary air purifier, it completes a myriad of tasks that leave homes feeling and smelling great. It’s a breath of fresh air and it costs less than the Dyson cool air.

This is why I’m so enamoured with it. We have an area in the snug where the cat litter tray resides. The cats generally do their business outside but will use it to wee when we don’t wake in the middle of the night to let them out. Despite changing the litter daily there was always a faint foul odour. Room sprays just made it worse. You know the scenario. You use a room spray to mask a smell but in reality it just miles with the stink and then you can never use that scent again, as sandalwood and lime now always reminds you of the scent of cat pee? That.

After one hour with the air purifier on full the odour was gone. The air purifier doesn’t claim to rid the house of smells but it does. It works. It works so much that I move it about the house regularly, with it’s easy to carry handles and place it in rooms that may smell a little musty, stuffy or even of curry!

The Hoover 300 air purifier can clean the air in a room in minutes, enjoy that open window feeling all year round.

Easy Set Up and Simple Controls

It’s so easy to set up, just plug it in and away you go. If you have the time you can connect to its wifi and control it from your phone. You’ll find a range of options to purify your air, from removing allergens to eliminating dust while the huge filter will ensure that you’re not forking out for a new filter every month. Although the price for the unit is similar to the Dyson the replacement HEPA filters are a lot cheaper at just £30.

Holistic Air Purifying

Its design means that it purifies air at 360 degrees, it doesn’t miss a spot. The purificated air doesn’t come out of one side, or the top. It sucks it in through the cylindrical barrel and blows it out to the entire room making it a quicker air purifier for the home and also ideal for larger rooms. Our snug is very large and it easily tackles the entire space in an hour.

It has three speed settings and a sleep mode, allowing you to sleep easy while still benefiting from ultra clean air. There’s an allergen function which is ideal for those with asthma or hay fever. It cools a room too so can double up as a fan. There’s very little it can’t do.

It also tracks your air quality in real time. If the air quality is low a red ring will appear to let you know. After running the unit for a short while you’ll see this ring turn to orange and then green which means your air is clean! It will also alert you to CO2 which is handy in the winter if you use a gas fire or woodburning stove.

We adore this Hoover 300 air purifier for all of the reasons listed above and highly recommend it if you’re looking for one to purify your home.
