Hoover H-Dry 350 DEALS

  • Currys, Amazon, Hoover
    $299£ VIEW

Hoover have long been known as a brand that exudes quality, traditional values and affordability. When our Beko dryer finally gave up the ghost we sought out a new one that would be able to handle the multiple daily loads, the fluff, the pet hair and my own need to use as many fragrance boosters as possible.

I used to argue with my mum a little about my tumble dryer usage. Maybe it’s a generational issue but she hated me using the dryer if it was anything less than a hurricane outside. She believed it was a waste of money, frivolous and foolhardy but I have another argument.

Why I’m Not Loving Rituals Dream Collection

When our dryer was out of action I erected a washing line. While the dog blankets dried in seconds (it is summer) and held that “dried outside” freshness, everything else needed to be ironed to look presentable. This added hours and hours on to an already frantic week, hours I, quite frankly, do not have.

In addition to this, despite shaking and shaking the children still endured the odd earwig bite while the rain caught me out many times, resulting in a rewash. I can’t help it, I’m a dryer fiend and I was very happy to try this one after trying Beko and Candy.

The Candy dryer we tried in the interim had a very strange design flaw. You’d have to dismantle the front of the dryer to gain access to the water tank. After doing this four time, the metal began to warp and didn’t fit flush like it should, often popping off and tripping us up.

The Beko meanwhile had a very convenient water dispenser but problems with the heat setting. If I dried on anything but the cold setting the stench of burning plastic filled the air and the dryer began to smoke.

Imagine my surprise when setting up the Hoover H-Dry 350 I found the water dispenser in the door. This is genius. With both the Beko and the Candy I’d often put the dryer on when the water tank was full, totally oblivious and launching a full drying cycle where no water was removed at all. With this door feature not only is it incredibly easy to remove and empty, it also lets me see how full it is, removing the guess work and the extra useless drying cycles.

The Hoover H-Dry 350 also has a great big drum and can handle quite a lot without spitting out crumpled clothes. With a vast range of options (I use only one) it’s a dream dryer for just selecting and off you go.

It may be my imagination, but with the Beko and Candy I found they removed all the lovely scent I’d added during the wash, yet the Hoover doesn’t do this. Everything emerges smelling divine, with that fresh laundry scent that we always try to mimic in wax melts.

If that’s not enough it’s also energy efficient, using a heat pump to cut down on costs. Is there anything this dryer can’t do? My mum would be proud as she’d see me cutting down on my electricity bill.

Overall a stunner of a dryer, innovative, easy to use, looks great and does the job perfectly. I’m impressed. Thank you for saving me hours and hours pegging out washing and ironing, only for it to be rumpled as soon as it’s touched by children’s hands!
