We caught up with Oliver J. Woods, the stylist to the stars. He’s looking forward to launching his hair product range for men while being the personal stylist to Robbie Williams for over 15 years.

He gave us some great insights into his life and childhood and was an absolutely smashing bloke.

  1. What is your earliest childhood memory?

My earliest childhood memory would be a funny thing that happened between me and my dad where I had somehow managed to wedge myself under a sofa and my dad asking how it happened and my reply being I “had eaten too much”.

2. Who was your best friend at school?

My best friend at school was a lovely guy called Lawrence, a big guy, a gentle giant. We both picked well, I made him laugh and was extremely loyal and he protected me..unfortunatley not in contact with him anymore.

3. Did you have a trouble free teenage life?

Relax a little longerWe'd love your views on these

Ten Probing Questions with Emmerdale’s Charlie Hardwick

August 30, 2017

Teenage life was not all trouble free, I fully embraced the football culture of the 80’s but I did also start my career at the end of my teens at the suggestion of my beloved Mother, going to prove they are always right!

4. What has been the biggest change in your life so far?

So far, the biggest change has been falling in love with my current girlfriend which I had convinced myself would never happen.

5. Do you have any enemies?

We can be our own worst enemy, it’s learning to trust your judgements and not let fear stop you.

6. Who is your best friend?

I have several best friends, one for every day of the week, seriously my friends have become my family over the years and are very important to me.

7. If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

Nothing! Was that a trick question?

8. What do you think is the key to happiness?

For me the key to happiness is positivity and the forgetting the negativity that exiists around us

9. What gets you up in the morning?

What gets me up in the morning is the joy of a new day and the idea that something beautiful is going to happen

10. Describe your busiest day, what are you up to right now?

I’m about to launch my own hair range for men in the autumn..it will start with 3 products with more introduced early next year.

Boxing 3 times a week to keep the fitness levels up is non negotiable. The rest is fully changeable and could take me to the best hotel on the Cote D’Azur with a client or equally I could be on set in Hackney! Both special in their own way.
