This year’s pet gift guide is bigger and better than ever with incredible businesses creating ingenious products that pamper our pooches and care for our cats. We were overwhelmed with submissions to our Pet Gift Guide, and so we’re confident we have the best pet gift guide in the entire world. The best part is, there’s no affiliation, no one is paying us, these are real, unbiased reviews as we’ve tested every single product on five dogs, eight cats, rabbits, tortoise and much more. You can buy with confidence knowing that not only will your pet love their gift, it’ll put a smile on your face too, as it did ours.

Doodlebone

Doodlebone sent us their wonderful harnesses, which are such good quality for the price! At only £25.00, their adjustable air mesh harness is made to fit any size of dog. The colour variety on these are absolutely amazing! We love the fact that they include different designs and patterns instead of just block colours. The designs fit our tastes perfectly as people who love colour! Their brights and pastel paints selection are especially eye catching, and some of the palettes in the cosy season selection are gorgeous too. The harnesses are incredibly easy to put on as well, found with little restraint from dogs who hate harnesses being put on! They also have reflective stitching, which is useful for visibility for late night or early morning walkies. You also feel completely in control of your dog, as it supports their body perfectly. They’ve also launched a light up lead which is perfect for those nightly walks.

Doodlebone review

Temu

We received their colourful light up collars, which are great value for their price! It’s perfect if you want to walk your dogs at night-time, as it illuminates them. You can also recharge the colour and cut it to the right size, making them adjustable for any dog, big or small. Fits the pugs’ necks perfectly! Also very lightweight for the dog’s neck, so it doesn’t bother them. They barely realise they’re wearing anything, which sometimes can be an issue with smaller dogs. We have two black pugs, so it can be incredibly difficult to see them in the dark. We can now walk them in the dark and see more then their little eyes shining! No worries when they decide to run into the bushes, as you can just see a little colourful light. No more hiding in the garden when they’re out for the night-time toilet run either!

Woof Whisperer

The most humane way to stop your dogs from barking! This device is a lifesaver for us, as our dogs never seem to settle with the constant noise outside. It’s amazing yet so simple to use, using no chemicals or electric shock. You can be confident going out in public knowing your dog isn’t going to create a scene, that you’re able to enjoy a walk or a trip to a café with them without endless noise. Dogs find themselves less on edge and more comfortable as this device teaches them not to bark. It only uses beeps and vibrations, which are harmless to the dog, as a stimuli to discourage barking. I find that for our dogs it has been extremely helpful as they excessively bark at any noise, especially the postman, which would scare him away. We can now get our post freely without our postman experiencing loud barking every time he steps foot near our property. Thank you, Woof Whisperer!

Ruffingtons Dogs Treats

Ruffingtons Dog Treats offer luxurious patisserie-style treats for dogs, perfect for Christmas whilst you’re enjoying your hard earned Christmas desserts, your dogs can also enjoy luxury treats! They’re free from artificial additives, ensuring you’re only giving the best to your beloved pooch. The lucky dogs’ who tested these favourites were the Canine Cupcakes, perfect for celebrations, or appreciation! For £5 for a four pack, offering Vitamin A and minerals, and guaranteed to make your dog smile. As certified by two Weimaraner’s! Why not include your dog in the Christmas treats? These are designed perfectly so that they sit beautifully on a table. All treats offer nutrients, free from artificial additives.

Pointer Advent Calendar

Pointer offers many treats and hampers for your furry friends for Christmas, so they can get in on the festive spirit! At only £6, this advent calendar is a perfect way to include our dogs in the Christmas countdown! It makes their December special just as ours is. The treats included have no artificial flavours yet they are still appetising to the dog’s taste. It’s a great, affordable way to treat your dog each day as you open your own advent. It’s great for our dogs and their puppy dog eyes, always longing to give them chocolate which they are definitely not allowed. They know they have their own calendar so they leave ours be!

Earth Animal Treats

Earth Animal is a perfect place to go to guarantee healthy and all-natural pet products. We can tell everything is made with love and consideration of the animals in just the way it is presented! They offer full transparency of every ingredient going into our dog’s bellies, ensuring that we’re only giving them the best. It’s amazing being able to give your dog a treat with no worry, knowing their website is user-friendly and offers everything you might need to know. From the size of treat you should give your dog, right down to every last ingredient included in it. Our dogs tried and tested their No-Hide selection, which was very high-quality. They devoured the treats happily, and were very satisfied afterwards.

Burns Pet Food

Burns offer dog food which supports dogs with all sorts of problems. Including dogs with join problems, whomst are hypoallergenic, and ones who have sensitive stomachs. This food was especially good for our Weimaraner’s who struggle with joint problems due to their breed. It’s also highly digestible so their stomachs didn’t suffer either. We’ve found the larger kibble size also slows down their eating too, which is useful to stop them from gouging and then throwing up. Realistically, a lot of dogs suffer with eating too fast so now we’ve moved onto larger kibble we find they eat at a reasonable pace.

Denzel’s Dog Treats

Denzel’s offer a large variety of treats, and they are very good value. Our pugs really enjoy these, as we’ve been using them to help with training. The massive variety of flavours helps as sometimes our pugs can be fussy – but no issues with these flavours! They’re low calorie and all natural ingredients too so you don’t have to worry about overfeeding whilst training – which can be an issue for our pugs! But no problems at all! The packaging is also plastic-free and biodegradable and at-home compostable, which is a great step for a healthier planet. We found their gingerbread, banana & carrot to be intriguing, as it seemed a weird mix of flavours, but the pugs gobbled them right up! They have pigs in blankets and mince pie themed sticks for Christmas, which is a great way to spice it up for your pup.

Who Gives A Crap Dog Poo Bags

These dog poo bags are a way to be thoughtful with your faeces! As they’re B-Corp Certified for Environmental Impact, and made from 100% recycled materials. They’re also a lot prettier than your standard poo bag, good for those that like a pop of colour whilst they walk! The material is also incredibly strong, so no worries about breakage. You also just won’t be able to forget them when walking your dogs, as they’re truly memorable. We will go to leave the house, and then remember we want to take our pink and orange poo bags out. Also an amazing value for money at £7 for 200! We have two very large Weimaraners, and these are roomy enough to pick up their business with room to spare. They also have handles which make them very easy to tie up. Additionally, 50% of the profits made from these bags go to charity! It’s a win-win all round.

Mikkipet Doodles Drying Robe

This drying robe is perfect when you want to take your furry friends out in the colder weather! You don’t have to worry about them getting too soggy in the back of your car on the way home – as this robe dries them and warms them at the same time. It’s made with a stretchy material which is helpful to put on and take off. The super-absorbent material we’ve found soaks up the water really well, and speeds up the drying time. Also, it’s machine-washable so even useable after a super muddy walk session!  The microfibre bag it’s stored in is also really handy for cleaning the paws.

Pets At Home

Pets at Home stores are everywhere. Very easily accessible! They know what dogs like, and they always pull through. This year we’ve been thoroughly impressed by their very tough reindeer rope toy, their pheasant toy, their sprout collection (not sure why these don’t have their own advert like Kevin the Carrot) and their full range of dog treats.

eufy Robot Vacuum Omni S1 Pro

With Winter fast approaching, and rain being more prominent than ever, the eufy Robot Vacuum is an absolute lifesaver. Our floors are becoming increasingly muddy each day as the paddock gets more and more soggy, we find ourselves having to mop multiple times a day. It offers an “Always Clean Mop” which refreshes itself faster than can be achieved by human hands, making the floors cleaner than our manual mopping ever could. With having two big dogs that love to have muddy feet, it’s been absolutely game changing. The little robot reaches corners you wouldn’t deem possible.  It’s also definitely eaten it’s carrots as it can see in the dark! All easy to do from their app.

Digby Dog

Digby Dog offer all natural sprays, balms, shampoos, conditioners and balms. Anything that you’ll need to groom your pooch! I can tell you that our pugs have been smelling a lot better since we’ve started using these products. The shampoo is quick to get the muck off but doesn’t irritate our dogs sensitive skin, and that’s all we can ask for. But it also encapsulates them in a gorgeous aroma of lavender! Which is one of our favourite scents. They also contain anti-fungal, antiseptic and antibacterial properties. Our bigger dogs hate being bathed, and it is quite difficult to do so when they weigh around 50kg. However, they love us using the refresh balm on their feet and noses, it’s so gentle on their skin.

The Animal Talent Agency

This is a bit of a wild card but you can gift your pet the present of stardom with the Animal Talent Agency, the best agency for superstar animals in the UK. Not only will your pet meet and greet the rich and famous, experience real film sets and possibly become the new face of the latest craze you will also earn money along the way. Your pet doesn’t need to have any special abilities it just needs to be good with crowds and to follow basic commands. This could be a gift for the both of you, a new adventure to start in 2025 and who knows where it might lead? Take a look at The Animal Talent Agency today.

Robert Dyas Dog Toys

Did you know that Robert Days sells dog toys? We didn’t. They have a super large collection of affordable toys for your dog or cat from squeaky nutcrackers to soft cuddly sprouts. They’re worth a look this festive season as their range is large and you’ll find something special to gift to your best friend.

Squishmallow Pet Beds

The Squishmallow pet beds come in a range of sizes, they’re fun and super comfortable, like sitting in a cloud. Pets adore them, a little bit of luxury with a superset exterior and an attractive twist. There are quite a few in the range from an octopus to a frog and we’ve heard there may soon be a Pokemon collab! The smaller ones go in the washing machine easily on a 30 degree cycle and clean up beautifully. The larger ones may be best for sunny, dry days! We also adore the cat caves, soft all over and completely unique, the cats adore them.
