Connor Burns is getting around and touring the UK with his unrivalled Scottish humour over the next 12 months. I’m on a personal mission to persuade more artists to visit Exeter so all of us in the South West can enjoy a show without hopping onto the M5 or M4 and booking a hotel. James Marriot got our memo and we can’t wait to see him in November, now, if only everyone else followed suit!

Anyhow, Connor is a sell out comedian and with good reason. You’ll feel belly laughs like never before and leave feeling energised while wanting more. A Connor Burns show is a guaranteed good night out and he’s not greedy either, tickets are a reasonable amount.

If you’d like to laugh until you snort, giggle until you garuff or just find out what Gallus truly means, book your tickets now. All the details are listed below and no, I’m not being paid for promoting his show

“Scots have a failsafe way of making sure their kin don’t get too full of themselves – they cut them down to size at every opportunity. But if an outsider was to attack you they’d defend you to the death. As a Scottish comedian I dance on that razor of wanting to blow up the room, but always checking over my shoulder to see if I might just be getting too cocky. Gallus”.

Connor Burns

Connor Burns, one of the fastest rising names in comedy, premiers his brand-new show GALLUS – a fiercely funny, no-nonsense hour from a performer renowned for his razor-sharp wit, jet-black cynicism, and undeniable stage presence.

Star Wars BB8’s Celebrity Family Come to London

April 18, 2016

Following the runaway success of his previous show 1994 – which sold over 10,000 tickets in his Edinburgh hometown (selling out his fringe run, extra shows due to demand and an extraordinary four additional shows at the city’s flagship Royal Lyceum Theatre). He also sold out two nights at The King’s Theatre during the Glasgow International Comedy Festival and toured across the UK, Europe and Australia.

GALLUS is Connor’s fourth solo show. A prolific joke writer whose lightning fast, razor-sharp wit combined with his signature single malt Scottish-level cynicism to help create the perfect storm of brilliant jokes performed by a disarming comedy powerhouse.

These achievements cement Connor’s status as a world-class comic: prolific, unfiltered, and bitingly observant. Armed with cutting one-liners, high-velocity punchlines, and bold insights into modern life, he delivers a show bursting with bravado, blistering honesty and a big heart.

Now also a major force on social media, Connor has supported Daniel Sloss on three continents, closed the Sydney Comedy Festival Gala at the iconic Opera House, performed an off-Broadway run as part of 2024’s New York Comedy Festival. Winner of the prestigious international Fringe Encore Series in both 2025 and 2024, Connor’s stand up special “Vertigo”, is set for world-wide release in July on the prestigious 800LB Gorilla comedy label.

* Gallus: Traditional Scots dialect meaning Bold, Daring and Reckless.
