We love that we’re popular in the USA and now have a USA office in West Virginia (We really can relate to Country Roads!) Usually we focus on gifts from the UK but in homage to our USA readers and indeed, readers all over the world, we’ve reviewed the best gift ideas across the Atlantic. UK readers don’t need to worry though as many of these have international shipping so you can still enjoy these glorious global gifts. Remember, our gift guides are not just for Christmas, they include incredible products you’ll love any time of the year. In addition to this we’re not paid to include those we choose, selection is based purely on who we think deserves it due to attributes such as:

  • Value for Money
  • Quality of Product
  • Customer Service
  • Aesthetics
  • Practicality (if applicable)
  • Ease of Use (if applicable)
  • Taste (if applicable)
  • Appearance in relation to photo online

This means you can shop with confidence knowing you’re buying something truly special that won’t disappoint you and will only bring you, or your loved ones, joy.

Let’s get started!

Ostanes Kids

Now I don’t usually place products in order of how much we love them but this one deserves to be right at the top of the list. These guys took my fourteen year old’s doodle and turned it into a figure of beauty. A true spectacle that delighted her no end and made her, and me, very very proud. Not only did they create a unique piece that’s a replica of her own design (it’s an Orca, as she wants to be a marine biologist and feels dolphins/Orcas are receiving a bad rep right now), they also added a personalised letter to her, to me and then a QR code on the base of the figure that takes her to a recording of my voice telling her how proud I am. This is gifting of the future. I cannot think of a more personal, beautiful, magical gift than this. It now sits proudly on her shelf, right next to her Stranger Things Funko Pop figures. Please check them out, Ostanes Kids, you will not be disappointed. They have a cool instagram too where you can see my daughter’s figure created.  Here’s the drawings I sent, the Orca one was used. They win our Top Product Award – please see their TikTok and Insta for the finished piece and give them a follow.

Annova Flatware Set

It may seem silly gifting knives and forks but this is a set that will bring a smile to your face every time you open the cutlery drawer. It’s chunky and bright with little forks that come in handy more often than you’d think! We adore it and want more.

Cool Your Sweats – Simone Nightgown

As a woman of a certain age going through the menopause I am either shivering or flushing hot. Both are uncomfortable but the hot flushes are the worst. I can only sleep in natural fibres, hence choosing bedding from Terry’s Fabrics, as you’ll see in our interior guide, and the same applies to night wear. The Simone nightgown is breathable, roomy, soft and comfortable. It’s like sleeping naked without the embarrassment. It’s cosy enough to make you feel settled for the evening yet cool enough to let those hot flushes drift away. A genius idea executed perfectly, the Simone nightgown is a must for any woman of a certain age!

Maison France Luxe

I nearly put this in our interiors guide but realised it’s worldly so deserves a place here, along with a Best New Brand Award. Maison France Luxe make the very best laundry detergent and body soaps I’ve ever tried. Not only do they smell amazing, look the part but they also perform exceptionally. The laundry detergent leaves wool supersoft, delicately fragranced with that high end luxury scent that’s impossible to emulate. The soaps, particularly the rose and fig feel like butter over the skin and tackle dry skin with ease. We adore this and will be stocking up every Christmas for a treat. It’s about time laundry detergents raised the bar as we wear clothes almost 24 hours a day and it really matters what we put next to our skin.

Pure Life Biotic Shower Steamers

On the same note. these shower steamers from Pure Life Biotic will leave you feeling energised, refreshed and squeaky clean. Now, I have a theory about shower steamers. While these ones are chunky and robust enough to last the entire shower many are not. They slip down the drain in seconds leaving behind nothing but a slippery shower floor. (These wouldn’t be on the list if they did this, seriously, go get them!) I think shower steamers should have a ribbon, a rope, anything so they can be hung up. This would make them last longer while also filling the shower with more scent as the fragrance doesn’t have to rise. They could even hang under the water jets. It’s just an opinion. In the meantime, these are the very best shower steamers we’ve tried. I am confident you will love them too. Update: I have been using these for a little while now and the whole family loves them as one shower steamers lasts for FOUR showers. That is amazing. usually they dissolve and just slide down the drain but now every shower smells so fragrant and uplifting. These are a game changer! If I could award two Top Product Awards per category I would! Instead they win our Sustainable Award! I’ve also just noticed they have oodles of scents to try, now this is going on MY Christmas list!

Bougie Bottle

When I opened my Bougie Bottle my face filled with a smile that made me look like the moon. It was so wide. These are the very best insulated bottles I’ve ever seen in my entire life. The designs are incredible, with mine taking inspiration from William Morris, one of my favourite textile designers of all time. They have a full range of iconic designs to choose from along with their very own leather sling which you can throw over your shoulder to carry your Boogie Bottle on your hip. Forget the Stanley club, we need a Bougie club. Anyone will be happy to receive one of these as a gift.

Soap Cauldron

The Soap Cauldron produce a rage of massage oils and bathing products to elevate your hygiene routine. You may have seen lately that female shaving oils are all the rage. Oils to apply after shaving your legs? These massage oils work just as well while being infused with essential oils so you receive an aromatherapy mood boost while softening your skin. They’re worth a look see.

Horzbath Wipes

Anyone who’s ever had surgery, been on a hike, been to a festival or, sadly, taken care of someone palliatively knows how essential body wipes are. There are some great ones out there but none as brilliant as Horzbath. Not only is the name hilarious, the branding is spot on but they don’t stop there. Each huge wipe is individually packaged so you can carry one or a whole pack. The scent is neutral, for both men and women, and the cleaning power is out of this world. You feel fresh as a daisy without taking a shower or bath. They also have a range of hoodies with their own eye-catching branding on. I’ve not tried these so can’t tell you what they’re like but when wearing you’re bound to start conversations sporting Horzbath.

Daily Adventure Journal

This Daily Adventure Journal will not push you out of your comfort zone. Instead it will gently nudge you towards a more social, active life. The daily suggestions are doable (although some do concentrate on city dwellers) and the space for thoughts, planning and notes is ample. It’s one of the better journals we’ve seen as it reminds you how precious life is and how important it is to connect with nature every single day. We love it.

The Unsweetened Tooth

The Unsweetened Tooth made me question my own culture. Don’t get me wrong, their products are out of this world, delicious and dreamy and perfect for making a range of very popular desserts. They make curds. British curds. Now, growing up in the UK I’ve always had a jar of lemon curd in the spread cupboard, sitting neatly alongside the Bonne Maman jam, the Nutella, the Heinz Sandwich Spread. I spread it on toast, on bread or make lemon curd tarts. What I’ve never had is a peach curd, a blackberry curd or strawberry curd yet the paraphernalia for The Unsweetened Tooth tell me these are very popular in the UK. I wish they were, they are delicious. Especially on cheesecakes or for making a blackberry fool. I also made a range of tarts, jam plus four flavour of curds which delighted everyone who tried them. Maybe they’re made by hand by those in restaurants as part of desserts and I’ve floated by without noticing. Either way, I’m happy to claim them as British, and happy there’s now more than one flavour of curd. I’m even happier The Unsweetened Tooth are making them as I don’t believe you could buy better if you tried. They’re a gorgeous gift and a delectable delight!

Holiday Honey

You haven’t tried honey til you’ve tried Holiday Honey. It has a pouring consistency so is beautiful on pancakes. It’s lightly spiced with nutmeg and cinnamon, all the spices of Christmas. It is presented in a generously sized bottle so no one is fighting over it and the branding is festive so it looks great on the breakfast table. You can use it for breakfast waffles, add it to festive teas, or use it in baking. Personally, I’m using it to glaze the holiday ham!

Keep checking back as we’ve some incredible products still to come and you don’t only have to give presents at Christmas. These products are so good you’ll want to buy them for yourself! Subscribe, it’s free, and we’ll keep you updated. We don’t spam, in fact we forget to pester you!
