I’ve been testing out the best skincare products and have found incredible new products on the market along with some old favourites that still deliver on their promises. I won’t lie, I’m fussy about skincare as my pores block easily and my skin is combination meaning it’s never happy. I’ve also noticed at the grand old age of 41 that I’m starting to get fine lines while my skin doesn’t look as plump as it used to be. I swear it’s sun damage as the skin on my stomach still looks as fresh as a baby’s!

See what I’ve discovered that’s on the market right now for you to indulge your skin in. All skincare has been tried and tested and has impressed. There’s no mediocre here, they’re all amazing, meaning you can shop with confidence. This is also not a paid post, the reviews are my own.

DR LAMIA 24 Hour Anti Age Luxurious Cream

An incredible mask that feels amazing and tightens within seconds. Not only does it lift the skin it also replenishes and rejuvenates and makes an ideal base for make up. It’s not the cheapest but I’ve chosen it as first on the list as it is the ultimate luxury. Even with the hefty price tag (£150 from Dr Lamia) I still think you receive incredible value as the pot is generous. It also looks amazing on a vanity table.

Best New Brand Award

Emeilleurq for BAME Women

The founder of this brand started out by making skincare for herself before family and friends put in requests. Now its taking off all over the UK. A selection of incredible products that target problem areas for BAME women, this range really blew me away.

Top product Award

ESPA Tri-Active Regenerating Treatment Oil

If I could give all in this list a top product award I would as they all deserve it. The new range from ESPA is as luxurious as you would expect from such a consistent brand. The scents, the results, the texture, the presentation are all on point and to boot you truly do feel as though you’ve had a day at the spa when using this.

ESPA tri-Active Rejuvenating Treatment Oil

Crystal Clear Illuminate

A product that does exactly what it promises, it really does illuminate. You don’t need a lot and it it’s great for bare summer skin or as a primer for make up. It also has a sunscreen while reducing the appearance of age spots. A must for maturing skin.

Sienna Professional

The marine bamboo priming day cream and the eye cream from this brand produce results while indulging skin. With an SPF of 30 the priming day cream protects from harmful UV rays while providing a flawless base for makeup. It feels pharmaceutical but makes a strange flex of being 69% natural however I feel a team of scientists have created this in a lab due to the scent and streamlined packaging. Definitely one to try!

BAO Skincare

This all natural small skincare brand is absolutely divine and definitely one to watch. Leaves skin feeling incredible and is pure indulgence without the conscience. Do check them out on Instagram and the website. They’re small but growing fast as everyone realises just how decadent the products really are. Extreme quality skincare. I loved the rose face mist as it’s like taking a gentle meander through a petrichor filled English rose garden. but they have other products too.

Best Budget Buy Award

VitaSkin from Holland and Barrett

For those with a lower budget the Vitaskin range is ideal. Packed full of vitamin C it smells like oranges and provides all you need for a 4 step skincare routine. I loved the packaging and also the rich smooth pastes that are delivered through paint tube esque bottles. Skin really does feel pampered, refreshed and revitalised.

Advantage 3 Step Skincare

Another budget buy is this three step skincare set from Advantage. Using Rooibos it’s a natural way to cleanse and moisturise while making a great gift set for someone close.

Michelle Collins Skincare

Yes, it is the Michelle Collins who played Cindy in Eastenders. Have you ever wondered how she looks so young despite her age? Now you know. Her own personalised skincare regime that I was very skeptical about at first but soon discovered it competes with the big brands that have been around for years. Gloriously packaged and presented in a way to make you feel indulged before you even use it, the full skincare set from Michelle Collins is a must.

CHA Vohtz

A beautiful and stunning skincare range that stands out on a shelf and brightens the face. We adore the texture, the delicate fragrance and the results it creates.CHA

Seilich Face Mist

The ultimate in refreshment, the face mask really stood out for me here. Think tropical beaches and far away climes, think palm leaves and pampering and a gentle breeze. Easy to carry in a handbag, this is a real treat, I also used it to infuse my cotton pillowcase too, that’s how much I liked it!

MooGoo Day and Night Cream

MooGoo is magic. It smells divine and should be part of everyone’s morning and evening routine. It’s fun but packs a punch and leaves skin soft and hydrated, a great gift to a friend or a treat for yourself!

MooGoo day and night cream

I’ll be adding to this list as I try more and more skincare as it’s released so please do check back and if you have a favourite skincare product please do let me know.

If you’re looking for the best gifts for her we have you covered.
