Forget Netflix and Chill, enter Netflix and Build! As you know Sunday Woman adores Lego and also partners with Netflix (we’re not sponsored though, all of our opinions are our own and not bought).
Recently I’ve discovered Nothing Days. Days for adults that celebrate doing absolutely nothing, no working, no cleaning, no cooking, no adulting. My favourite thing to do on Nothing Days is build Lego and watch Netflix. I call these Netflix and Build days.
Spider-Man Brand New Day
Now, with Spider-Man Brand New Day hitting the cinemas, I coveted the Avengers Tower from Lego. One of the only sets with the Incredible Hulk, the tallest set in the Lego franchise and so supreme it looks like it’s been designed by Tony Stark himself.
I will be watching the movie on Wednesday but I wanted some Spider-Man nostalgia as I built and guess what? I found it, on Netflix, with Toby Maguire, the best Spider-Man there is. My daughter’s love Marvel, Spidey is their favourite, lovely Tom Holland their favourite actor, but I made them watch the originals as only with them can you truly understand the hype of this incredible Marvel universe. This is my Brand New Day theory I shared on TikTok.
I know, I’m optimistic but I hate movies where one forgets everything and the other is just pining. Maybe Marvel will do it differently.
Anyhow, back to Lego.

My daughter and I built this while watching Toby Maguire in SpiderMan on Netflix and it is one of the very best sets I’ve ever built.
Just look at it!
It is beautiful and awesome and so very very tall. My daughter proudly displays it in her room and loves it.
This isn’t the only Lego set you can build that matches the theme of Lego though!
Pokemon Lego Sets
There are a lot of Pokemon Lego sets launching right now, and while we’ve yet to build them we do have our eye on some while we enjoy more Nothing Days opening Pitch Black and the Pokemon 30th Anniversary packs and watching the anime on Netflix.
There is something very wholesome about all of this, something incredibly serene. Building Lego is the very best way to escape but when you combine it with a fantasy universe you reach Nirvana.
Check out all the latest sets coming out right now. We’re really hoping the DC universe expands beyond Batman and includes SuperWoman and Krypto.
While Marvel is our favourite, the new DC reboots are a lot of fun.
