I’ve often found that my neurodivergent friends and family are the easiest to buy for. Sourcing presents is not difficult if you know the person well and understand their mini obsessions. As a person with ADHD, with a grown up son with Autism I know too well how obsessed we both get when we find new shows, new games, new fandoms that excite our dopamine receptors and send us down deep rabbit holes. Despite being on opposite ends of the spectrum, we both share this trait and revel in collecting items that put a smile on our face.

However, there are other, more practical gifts that parents, friends and family may want to give this year. Gifts that will make their neurodivergent friend’s life more comfortable, easier, less anxiety inducing.

I hope I’ve done a good job of bringing together gifts that are fun and gifts that are practical, alongside a couple that may just push the boundaries of that all too familiar comfort zone a little too.

N.B. These guides will be updated daily now. With Black Friday and sales it’s impossible to share the right prices, links and information. Make sure you subscribe so you can keep coming back to see when we add new gift ideas for neurodivergent people and when we update with images, videos, prices and links.

Let’s start with our favourite! The Top Product Award for 2025 goes to:

Plushie Dreadfuls

These are the best plushies we’ve ever reviewed. That is no overstatement. They are so soft, so well made and come with their own specific personalities that you’ll find a plushie to suit every neurodivergent person in your life, alongside ones for those not on the spectrum too. They’re absolutely adorable, well wrapped in a signature canvas bag and with a range of outfits to choose from they really are customisable to your own mood. We love them all and would love the entire range but we settled on the Autism bunny, the Mushroom bunny and the ADHD bunny. The site also has a wide range of smaller items such as keyrings, stickers, notebooks, even hoodies. This is a must for any neurodivergent person and I’m not being paid to say that! They obviously win our Top Product Award of 2025.

Vivo Barefoot

This may be a practical gift but it’s one that your pal will thank you for. Many people on the spectrum hate wearing shoes due to the constricting feeling, the foot claustrophobia, the material that’s unbending, the prison we put our feet in. Vivo Barefoot understand this and have created a shoe that feels like you’re walking on a cloud, or barefoot. With snazzy designs and a well made shoe that grips from the bottom rather than the top, these shoes provide the ultimate protection from the elements without sacrificing comfort.

Plaud Note AI

If your friend is a student or has a job, maybe even a budding Youtube / TikTok career then they will love the Plaud Note AI. It’s a note taker that helps you out with AI. It’s great for those who forget words, stutter or have trouble completing sentences. It helps organise thoughts and dialogue and turns messy note taking into organised bliss.

G309 Mouse from Logitech

Let’s admit it, a lot of us on the spectrum love to game. We love PCs, consoles, we love to communicate through the internet and some of us love the chance to adopt new personas. Where we seem to struggle in real life we excel online, being our true selves without the perceived consequences of the real world judging us! That’s why the very BEST PC accessories are a must and always very well received by those on the spectrum, especially PC gamers. This mouse, the G309 will not set you back too much, it’s affordable yet has everything you need to perform at a superior level. From LIghtspeed connectivity to Lightforce click speed, Hero technology and more. No longer can a gamer blame their tools for poor performance, as this mouse does it all!

The Puppet Company

This may sound like a weird one but please hear me out. I first met The Puppet Company at the Toy fair in 2024. Their story is amazing and I’ll be interviewing the founder soon so you can find out more. Usually they make puppets for school and education but now they have a whole range that we can all benefit from. Now I knew that the strider would be popular with my autistic son. I knew he’d be impressed with the quality. What I didn’t anticipate was how it brought us all together until the four of us, myself, my 14 yr old daughter, my 21 yr old old daughter and my 25 yr old son until we were all rolling on the floor laughing while playfully fighting over who got to give Strider a voice next. These puppets unlock parts of personalities that usually stay hidden. My son became confident as the puppet spoke for him, he was witty, quite cutting, sarcastic and hilarious. There’s a special kind of magic for those on the spectrum once you give them a puppet and ask them to make it talk. No matter how old they are. These definitely win our Best New Brand Award of 2025.

Bedsure Blankets

The blankets from Bedsure are soft and fluffy, like floating on a cloud and bound to delight anyone who loves warmth and comfort! The best part is, they don’t break the bank. Despite their affordable nature they feel utterly luxurious and soft. Ideal as a bedspread, a sofa blanket or a spare in the back of the car. In a full range of colours too. We chose soft lilac but there is every colour you could ever need available.

PO.p Pyjamas

We have featured these before but they’re worth mentioning again as they now have new designs. We love the liberty design but the striped pyjamas are our favourite as they are fully breathable while keeping you completely warm and snug. Excellent for those on the spectrum as the fabric is soft and comfortable, with no nasty hems digging into the skin. A great gift.

Horzbath Body Wipes

I adore the pun with these wipes but most of all I love their size. The scent is not overwhelming and they do freshen you sip, all over, in seconds. The best part is, unlike other body wipes, these are individually wrapped so you can pop one in your backpack when out hiking, shopping or just out of the house. They make hygiene a breeze and belong on this list. We love them. You will too. A must have for all but also loved by neurodivergent people as a comfortable way to clean the whole body in seconds.

Viking Creatures T-Shirts

These T-shirts are supersoft and once washed, they’re softer still yet that’s not what drew our eye. They have such unique designs that it’s hard not to love them. They’re ideal for any viking lovers or pun lovers, or those who want to share their love of the medieval. You will not be disappointed with any of these, and you’ll find one that your recipient will be very proud to wear with honour!

Soundcore A30 Sleep Headphones

These headphones not only transmit the best sound they also block out unwanted noise. With many couples claiming they saved their marriage, due to blocking out the sounds of snoring from a partner, these are ideal for the neurodivergent too. Super soft and fitting snugly into the ear they allow the wearer to completely switch off without worrying about the rattling pipes of winter heating, the creaking floorboards of cats playing and the traffic outside with horns blaring. A must have for anyone on the spectrum.

Soundcore A 30 Headphones

Please subscribe to watch this list grow substantially, we have some awesome gifts from Lethal Chicken Games, Lego and many more reviews for you to peruse before you part with your hard earned cash. In the meantime, check out our other gift guides. There is something for everyone. The best bit is, we’re not sponsored, we don’t get paid, so you know we’re telling the truth, we test every single product we recommend!

So Slime Sensations Twist and Surprise ASMR Box

If you’re on the spectrum you probably love or hate slime. It’s like marmite. Some adore the ASMR benefits and the calming stress relief while others hate the stickiness and strange textures. If you fall into the former camp this is a great gift as it’s a twist (no pun intended) on the usual slime gift boxes. You receive your very own surprise box, just like the ones you place a pound in before twisting to receive a ball. (I adore the ones in Lidl right now, and have collected every single bubble puppy and squishy laboubou ) . Each ball contains either slime or a slime addition such as beads, glitter, foam allowing you to create up to a hundred different slime creations. It’s the surprise element that’s great with this, alongside the variety. No one will receive the same two balls in a row. We love it.

So Slime Sensations

We’re still adding bits to our gift guides so please subscribe (it’s free) and check back to see some incredible last minute gifts!
