Wow, this has taken some time. With over 400 products entered, 164 brands, a panel of 5 judges and a lot of pamper days we’ve finally decided on our award winners. This was not easy. For four of the categories we’ve been swinging between two or three deserving of the title and have disagreed many times. We’ve all had our favourites and of course, beauty is bespoke. What works for one person’s skin and hair may not work for the next. This is why we chose those with the winning votes and why it was so important to have more than two judges.

If your favourite product didn’t win this year, don’t worry, there’s always next year. Unlike other awards ceremonies we’re also happy to give feedback as to why. If you have won, congratulations! This means your product impressed us, a lot. Not only will it have delivered on its own promises it will have also surprised us and will be a product we will not live without from now on.

Every single product has been thoroughly tested over a period of a month to fully appreciate the effects, whether they be hair growth or anti-aging, clearer skin or frizz smoothing.

Without further ado, the award winners are…

Best Pre Shampoo Mask

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer

The first time I used this I thought it was a post conditioner mask. It’s obviously not! I do not know how this magic works but no matter what shampoo and conditioner you use with it you still get the same silky locks results. It tames frizz and leaves hair feeling full and healthy. We love it. Find your Philip Kingsley Elasticizer here.

Best Shampoo

Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Special Shampoo

The best shampoo for a fragrant deep clean that leaves hair prepped and ready for conditioner or hair masks.

Best Conditioner

L’Alga CPR Seamolecular Deep Recovery

The bottles are tiny but they do pack a punch. This is a leave in conditioner that leaves hair soft and manageable. Great for taking in a handbag or purse for quick hair fixes due to the very small size.

Best Hair Mask

Faith in Nature Stimulating Hair Mask

This hair mask leaves the scalp tingling and the hair free flowing and glorious, while smelling of fresh rosemary as if it’s been snipped from the balcony herb pot. What’s not to love?

Best Hair Oil

Olio Divina Ayurvedic Hair Growth Oil

It’s hard to tell, over a month, if this did encourage growth but it certainly leaves hair silky and soft without the residue that many hair oils have. It smells divine too. You can find yours, as Jennifer Aniston did, here.

Best Hair Styler

Fudge Urban Seasalt Spray

This is the ideal spray for beach waves, texture and that “just got out of bed” look. If you want to look like you’ve been windsurfing all day, this is the spray you need.

That’s the hair products, now onto the face and body…

Best Body Wash

REN Atlantic Sea Kelp and Magnesium Body Wash

I loved this as magnesium helps to dull leg cramps that can happen when hormones shift. As a perimenopause woman this body wash was great for ensuring a good night’s sleep. I’ve even recommended it to all of my friends and anyone that has to deal with restless legs. Find yours here.

Best Shower Foam

Rituals – The Ritual of Karma Shower Foam

I know I didn’t like the new Dream Collection from Rituals but I do love their other ranges and the Karma shower foam is the best for a through clean that leaves you feeling refreshed and revitalised. Also moisturising enough to be great for shaving legs in the shower or bath too.

Best Body Oil

Johnson’s Baby Oil

This may shock a few but there is no better body oil, so far, than Johnson’s baby oil. Try it yourself. Apply liberally while you’re still wet from the shower or bath and then air dry (browse TikTok naked or something for five minutes). You will have the softest skin by the morning, guaranteed.

Best Body Scrub

Jo Malone’s Vitamin E Body Scrub

Am I allowed to admit that I tried really hard not to like this? Jo Malone seems to win all of the beauty awards and I know, from the industry, that some brands who do usually do so because of huge donations to the awards ceremonies or because their social media following is huge or because they show up in Google more than others. I’m in no way saying that Jo Malone is guilty of this, on the contrary, like every other brand on this winner’s list they deserve to win. Jo Malone has been tried and tested over a period of a month, just like any other beauty product and I can confidently say that this is the best body scrub I’ve ever used. At first glance it seems like any other body scrub but it’s thicker, more dense. The aroma gently oozes out, fresh, cut honeycomb in a wildflower meadow. The scrub melts effortlessly onto the skin but not too quickly, ensuring you know where you’ve been and making sure every inch of your body is covered in the moisturising vitamin E. It leaves skin soft, supple and fragrant. It’s incredible, absolutely incredible. This is one for our Supernova awards too that we’re launching very soon with just three products from the last two years that have delivered above and beyond what they promised.

Now let’s move onto beauty products for the face, keeping it simple with a five step routine…

Best Makeup Remover

Optase Eye Makeup Remover

Although this is just for the eyes we all found it gentle enough to use on the entire face. It’s great at removing even stubborn eyeliner and mascara and leaves skin feeling soft and cared for. It is quite new so don’t be put off by the lack of reviews, they are coming. Find it here.

Best Facial Wash

Evolve Rose Quartz Facial Scrub

This is gentle yet effective and smells of real roses in bloom so you feel throughly indulged as you use it. You don’t need a lot either. Find the Rose Quartz award winner here.

Best Toner

Medik 8 Exfoliating Toner

If you have dry skin this is the toner for you. It gets rid of pesky flaking skin and really does reduce the appearance of blackheads while keeping breakouts to a minimum, even through hormonal times. Find your press and clear toner here. Don’t do what I did and press onto the face. I really did think that’s what the press and clear meant! It refers to the bottle. Do follow it up with a good, hearty moisturiser though and we have the best one yet!

Best Moisturiser

Dr Lamia 24Hr Recovery Cream

We’ve celebrated Dr Lamia before and with good reason. Sturdy, aesthetic jars are filled with rich, luxurious cream that you think will clog pores but doesn’t. It soaks fully into the skin leaving no residue and skin feels more supple, more youthful yet not tight, and pampered. We all love it.

Best Face Fluid

Simon Ourian MD Hyaluronic Acid Filler

For the days when you need a little help to smooth out those fine lines and wrinkles Simon Ourian has your back. A great face fluid for a base to cosmetics while also magically filling in hairline creases so your face looks plumper and more refreshed.

Best Exfoliator

Skin Krush Microdermabrasion

It may be a mouthful but it really works. This device will clear your face of dead skin cells in an instant. You can choose the strength of the dermabrasion using the nozzles that are supplied with the device. Once used you’ll never turn back, the before and after is incredible. It uses no product and results are evident straight away which makes it ideal for a big night out.

Best Face Mask

Pure Tone Aesthetics Radiance Pod

We’re going electronic again but we can’t help it as this does tighten skin and get it ready for a fresh faced day at the beach or an evening out with friends. Light therapy is all the rage right now and Pure Tone have harnessed this and more to deliver the best of the trend in one simple small device that does deliver on its promises. They use seven proven methods in one handy device to deliver the skin tightening and it really does work which is why it’s the winner of the Sunday Woman Beauty Awards.

A Huge Congratulations

Congratulations to all of the award winners you really do deserve it, we will be in touch with your assets and a press release will be distributed to the National news. To our readers, you can now shop with confidence knowing that every winner will blow your socks off.

To all those that didn’t win please feel free to get in touch for feedback on your products. Many came so close to the top spot and divided our group. If you would still like to feature we will be reviewing beauty products for our Christmas Gift Guide 2025.

Tell Us Your Favourite

Do you use any of the award winners above already? Please do let us know your favourites from each category, the beauty products you can’t live without and any product that has blown your mind lately. We love to discover new stand out products to recommend.

A Little Non-Disclaimer

We have included no affiliate links, no tracking links or taken any form of payment from any of our award winners and entrants. We believe in fair awards where the best product wins and make no profit in order to give you confidence that we really have tested and reviewed every single product and found them to be the best of the best. You’ll find this in every product we recommend. We tend to steer away from negative reviews as we’re a positive publication which is why you’ll find more positive testimonies than negative, quite simply, if it’s not recommended in our pages, we don’t like like it. As our mothers taught us, if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. This does not extend to our reporting on scams however when we believe you have a right to know!

Still want your beauty fix? Find out what you should pack for a sunny holiday here.
