If you didn’t watch Squid Game, where were you? You must be one of those people who avoid popular culture as you think the rest of the world is stupid and only the dumb can enjoy entertainment that people adore en masse. Squid Game was unavoidable, and there are many reasons why. Puzzles, plots, culture, ethics, morals, ageism, sexism, gambling, life and death. It has them all.
Which is why Squid Game 2 is coming, and it’s set to be the very best Christmas yet as it hits our screens on Boxing Day. Forget the pub, forget the family, grab the popcorn, settle down, and please, original language with subtitles, put the telly on.
