It doesn’t have to be Mother’s Day to spoil your mum, in fact, do it right now! Make or buy her a gift and just see her face light up! If you are looking for gifts for mums for Mother’s Day or a gift to give, just because, here are some we’ve tried and tested. We have put each one through its paces and are impressed with the quality, price, usability and aesthetics. Buy with confidence as we bring you our best gifts for mums!

Maui Jim Swaying Palms Sunglasses

We love Maui Jim sunglasses as they’re strong and sturdy while being stylish and sophisticated. This new design of Swaying Palms is ideal to tempt mum into a summer mood.

Pretty Little Treats

I cannot stress enough how gorgeously sublime these beautiful bespoke products are. Made to her personality they are luxurious, natural and smell divine. They’re amazing. Treat yourself while treating mum and feel truly pampered with these beauties. We’ll be keeping a close eye on Pretty Little Treats – handmade luxury in Yorkshire!

FlowerBe Get Creative

If you’re a partner looking for mother’s day gifts for your spouse or you’re looking for a gift to give to grandma, this ingenious idea from FlowerBe will be right up your street. It comes complete with paper that children can decorate with the pens and ribbons included, along with a card they can colour in. Both children and mums will love it, as it delivers a personal touch alongside a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

Cabbages and Roses

This Darcy Rose duvet cover from Cabbages and Roses is 100% cotton and super soft to the touch. Pair with a feather quilt for the ultimate night’s sleep in a cooling duvet cover that’s light and luxurious. Give into the grey trend and add a dash of the garden with the hand painted flowers, adorned with a hand stitched Cabbages and Roses tag. It looks amazing, feels even better and is the ideal bedding gift for mum.

A Personalised Phone Case

If your mum loves her phone a personalised phone case would make a great gift. Every time she picks it up she’ll think of you. We love the case options from Tirita Phone cases, as you can add messages and initials on a range of modern backgrounds. We chose the unicorns and rainbows. It’s light and fits like a glove!

RHS Membership and Products

An RHS membership is the ideal gift as there are usually themed events all year round. RHS sites are the ideal places to take grandchildren too as there’s always something for all ages. I spend many day whiling away the hours, looking at plants and playing in the play areas at RHS Rosemoor. If you can’t stretch to the membership there are a lot of RHS licensed products which are of exceptional quality such as this gardening set by Burgon & Ball. An ideal gift for a mum who loves the outdoors!

They also sell these wonderful Woodland Chocolates!

Didsbury Gin

We review a lot of gin, see our Top Ten Gins guide, and we love this raspberry and elderflower gin from Didsbury. It’s deliciously fresh and a real taste of spring. Mum will love it too.

Sunset MakeUp Bag by YNot

We’ve tested a lot of makeup bags over the years but are blown away by the quality and design of this one from Y Not. It’s hard not to smile when looking at it as the detail is incredible. It’s bright and colourful while being sleek and sophisticated and sports hand painted talent that transports you to Paris. Mum will love it.

The Original Factory Shop

The Original Factory Shop is selling some incredible modern home products this year. Although mum may take offence at a laundry basket, you must agree that this is bang on trend and absolutely gorgeous for any home! They also have a wide range of home furnishings and accessories such as these cushions, which would be just the ticket for any house proud mum! The benefit of The Original Factory Shop is their products are a fraction of the cost of designer lookalikes so you don’t have to splurge to give a great gift.

Viners

Viners are quickly becoming the high quality go to brand for sophisticated kitchen products. We love the soft grip pan set that never seems to burn no matter how much you take your eye off the hob. We also adore the Nightingale cutlery set, it really is different without being too ostentatious.
