This year we’re pulling out the posh stuff and decorating the manor in a range of styles that wow, delight, charm and ultimately make guests feel cosy, at home, but indulged and relaxed. We’ve chosen the very best Christmas decorations to help with our themes and made sure they live up to expectations by putting our decs up early so you can shop with confidence, knowing your luxury decor will last for years to come and become a tradition.

We’re overjoyed with how the decorations have turned out this year, so festive, so luxurious, yet not over the top. In addition to this, we’ve also reviewed a good few items to help with the big clear up, before and after the decoration put up!

Without further ado, madam, sir, let me introduce you to….

Christmas Tree World

Just look at it, it’s not just Christmas, it’s out of this world. This tree comes easy to assemble, at 8 foot it was a doddle to put up. It has its own personal fluffing guide and once fluffed, it shines! We’ve not finished decorating it yet but we couldn’t wait to show you how far we’d come. It also has a matching garland, which dazzles over the fireplace, and this week I’ll personally take a photo while the fire is lit, to show you just how incredible this huge garland is.

We’re not just walking in a winter wonderland with this tree, we’re living in it, every day until January the 6th. It. Is. Epic!

Dobbies Garden Centre

If you’re looking for something fun, multicoloured, fashionable and great quality then look no further than Dobbie’s Garden Centre. They have the most glorious bubble rainbow wreath and a selection of Christmas dinosaurs. We’ve taken to placing our dinosaur in places to shock other members of the family, from the children’s beds, to the bath, to outside closed bedroom doors. You’ll have oodles of fun with these decorations.

Interflora

Of course nothing beats the natural but it’s not always practical. Especially with the birth of Christmas tree allergies. Interflora sell a selection of handmade natural wreaths that stand the test of time over the season and bring luxury to any front door.

Lego Wreath and Ponsietta

What could be better than building your very own decor out of lego bricks? This is a good sized wreath that is not only an absolute pleasure to build but it also looks great on the wall or a door. The ponsietta adds a conversation piece to any interior decor. You may not consider Lego for your Christmas decor needs but you should. With their range of Lego art there’s interactive decor for every season.

Aldi Acrylic Reindeer

If you’re looking for style without breaking the bank then this reindeer is for you. It shines so bright it’s impossible to miss and adds that Christmas sparkle to any decor. We’ve given it our Best on a Budget award as it’s charming, adorable and can be used indoor or out. We love it.

Pizza Express Ornaments

Pizza Express have launched tree ornaments on their TikTok shop for those who adore the brand. A gingerbread man dressed in their uniform and a floured dough ball. They’re lovely, quirky ornaments of a good quality and when purchasing you can feel good knowing a pound from each is being sent to Place2Be to help with the mental health in children. These are ornaments that will be passed down through the generations, always with a story behind them. If you’re a Pizza Express fan tell us the name of the Gingerbread man on our social media and we’ll pick a winner to receive him!

Hallmark Ornaments

We love the collaborations between Hallmark and our favourites, Star Wars, Nintendo and Harry Potter. These high quality, heavy decorations look great on any tree and show off what floats your boat daily. These are our favourite three but they have many more from Hans Solo cast in metal to the Mario Princess Peach. Pop by their stores or check online to see the best ornaments on offer. Bonus points for you if you can spot them in the tree pic above!

Kettler Cafe 18 Reusable Candle with Fuel

When our power went out this candle was a lifesaver, providing light when we needed it most. Simply fill with fuel and use the incredible futuristic lighter to light it and away you go. It lasts for hours, is safe in its glass shell and doesn’t give off any odour. It’s a beautiful candle for indoor or outdoor use. We used it indoors and loved it. Perfect to have to hand in case of a power cut too!

Snow Windows Stencils

Have you ever used snowspray but just put it on the corners of the windows so it looks like a snowdrift? Now you can create incredible art with these stencils and snowspray. So easy to use and it looks amazing too. We chose The Snowman but you can choose Frozen, Wallace and Gromit and many more.

VistaPrint Customisable Gifts

We had to say goodbye to Fanny, our pug, last week. It was such a difficult decision and the first of our pets to leave us in this way. Fanny belonged to Mitchell, my son, who is autistic and suffers with extreme anxiety and depression. Vistaprint made it easy to find him the perfect gift this Christmas as we took photos of Fanny at her best and had them made effortlessly into a cushion and blanket that Mitch can keep with him wherever he goes. We also created a mug of our friend’s dog and a canvas of my daughter’s dog and are very happy with the results. They came very quickly and were overjoyed with the results, such beautiful thoughtful gifts that look professional but are so personal. On top of this Persephone has become addicted to Arcane yet the merch is all sold out or very very expensive. I drew her favourite characters (so not to be done for copyright) and had them printed a T-shirt for her. VistaPrint is so versatile and can create more than what you think. Whether it’s a memory, a favourite pet, a TV show or simply their name, VistaPrint can make it theirs.
