Every year we compile a Christmas Gifts for Her guide and I’ll be honest. I use this as an ultimate shopping list of what I want, in an ideal world. As I’m single, presents aren’t under the tree for me (boohoo) but I do make a note of this guide and treat myself in the January sales! There’s always one or two on the list that I fall in love with and then use for the rest of my life.

Willow Plant Marker
You’ve probably come across automatic plant waters and even those that tell you when the soil is dry. I picked one up in the shape of a frog on Temu, a big fat toad on a spike that would release a high pitched ribbit when the compost lost too much moisture. It worked great for a week, and then the ribbit wouldn’t stop, ever. I’m ashamed to say that the frog met an unfortunate end with a rolling pin in the Sunday Woman kitchen. It’s the only way it would stop! Anyhow, the Willow is nothing like that. This is one product, along with the Plaud Note, where AI is being used for good. For instance, what good would the frog be if my plant happened to be a cactus? Willow identifies your plant and then gives you pleasing alerts and advice (alongside the APP) to ensure your plant receives the best possible care at all times. It’s like having a doctor attached to your hip, always. It’s genius. I know it is as I gave it to my 21 year old daughter to try, who has killed every single plant she’s owned – even the low maintenance ones – and her succulent is currently thriving. It was too late for her orchid unfortunately. This is a beautiful gift that will keep on giving.
Pom Pom London Spiced Handbag
We adore Pom Pom London’s spiced handbag. Just look at it. It’s hard to believe this bag is just £119! It’s incredible. It’s roomy, with wide straps that don’t kill your shoulders. It’s fun without being trashy, understated and elegant. The Pom Pom is optional but I adore it, and love it when people ask me about it. I wax lyrical about this new brand that’s making me wonder why I craved Mulberry and Chanel! The straps are also interchangeable so you can choose one to suit your mood or your outfit. You can collect them all. In addition they also do bum bags, or pouches. These are the best bum bags I’ve ever tried. I’m always wearing one as I’m a woman and so little clothes for women have pockets. They’re handy for walking the dogs, for when I’m doing things in the paddock or orchard, cleaning out the animals, for when I really want to get my steps logged but don’t want to carry my phone. They’re essential for everyday life. Yet I thought I’d have to put up with one bought from a seaside shop, recreated in homage to the eighties. Nope. Pom Pom London offer a full range in incredible colours and that’s not all. They have many compartments, lots of zips and are roomy enough to fit a phone, poop bags, a drink, keys, credit cards and even more without looking bulky or weighing you down. We all know Marshall to be a good, reliable brand for music lovers and makers alike. This is why we love this handheld speaker that’s in the iconic Marshall AMP design with all the functionality of a state of the art bluetooth speaker. It looks great, it sounds amazing and it’s light enough to take anywhere. I like to have it in the car, it fits nicely on the dashboard and adds a new dimension to BBC Radio 2.
Krafted Connex Multi Charger
This multi charger tackles every charging problem you’ve ever had. I wish I had it when I’d just received my new car. The car would only accept USB C cables for charging whereas everything I owned connected to my usual USB A ports. It has a range of Lego figures, all collectable, and is a pleasure to build. We love this Christmas train. There’s something about Lego, it’s never feels like Christmas without it! The Wonderboom 4 is a beautiful portable speaker that comes in two fun colours. With a handle so it’s easy to carry, protection so you don’t need to panic if you’re caught in the rain, and crystal clear sound this portable speaker is a must for anyone who loves their favourite music, or podcast on the go. I used it to listen to one of my favourite podcasts while cleaning out the outdoor animals. It’s so much easier than running a wire through the window to take the radio or Alexa outside. Sophie Allport Doggy Day Bedding
We never test any bedding that isn’t 100% natural fibres, be it cotton, bamboo or silk. This is so you know we’re recommending only the best night’s sleep with breathable fabrics that feel luxurious, not cheap. (I do not understand the hype around Catherine Lansfield or Furn bedding at all). Terry’s Fabrics have a wide range of natural fibre bedding, from Cath Kidstone to Orla Kiely and of course, this one from Sophie Allport. It’s a beautiful crisp white bedding set scattered with friendly, small dogs. Not only does it feel great to sleep in it also adds a little fun to the bedroom. We love it.
